c-rex.net as a hub for data
Control and sovereignty over the data treasure
Only a truly neutral and harmonized data hub gives companies back control and sovereignty over their own data treasure.
This is one of the central statements made by Christopher Möhlen in his article Data Hubs Why they should be at the center of the system landscape:.
And that is the core philosophy of c-rex.net. Our software is designed to fit into your system landscape and leave you in control of your data.
c-rex.net is all about intelligently linking and processing information centrally within the company.
The basis for this is the cloud, headless and API-driven approach, which you can read more about in our blog post Why headlessness can be an advantage.
Intelligent data links
Especially in the area of technical documentation and product information, we have to think beyond company boundaries.
We need to dynamically tie our customers, suppliers, machines and devices to our data and vice versa.
In our blog post Smart thanks to interfaces - A plea for linked and structured information we have dealt with this topic in more detail.
c-rex.net: Data-Hub, Translation-Hub, Information-Hub
With c-rex.net we distinguish different hubs:
Data-Hub
c-rex.net DTS for data transformation and integration, where we equate data formats and data services.
Both formatsWord, FrameMaker, QuickSilver, ...) and systems (ERP, CCMS, ... have defined formats and interfaces.
Translation-Hub
As a sub-module of c-rex.net DTS, this is the central translation hub in the company.
The Translation Hub integrates external interfaces such as translation memory and MT systems and gives you as a company back sovereignty over your data and, above all, over your processes.

Information-Hub
c-rex.net IDS acts as a hub for providing corporate and product information to internal and external interested parties.
The Internet of Things is also a data consumer, "a piece of software" that dynamically accesses information.
Our LinkedData approach also makes it possible to link decentrally available information.
